Tunnel Metal Detector with Conveyor
Our X8 Tunnel Detector with Conveyor integrates the high-pressure wash-down aperture tunnel with a durable conveyor. These systems can be ordered in a wide range of sizes with a myriad of optional equipment and are available in standard designs from our Quick Ship Program. Some of the main features include:

Tunnel Metal Detector
The X8 Tunnel Metal Detectors are custom manufactured to suit any in-line processing application where space is limited. Combine benchmark-setting sensitivities with its feature packed controls in a high-pressure wash down aperture head… all at the price of a mid-range detector.
Liquid Line Metal Detector
Eriez’ X8 Liquid Line Metal Detector systems are designed for liquids, pastes, slurries or other viscous products where high-sensitivity metal detection is required. The system can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Available in pipe sizes 1.5”-4” diameter. When metal is detected in the product flow, a reject signal is channeled to one of the available output relays. The output relay can be used to activate a ball valve, control a visual or audio alarm, or send a signal to a PLC.
Vertical Low Profile Systems
The X8 Vertical Drop Metal Detectors are engineered for use in gravity free-fall applications. They are constructed of 304 stainless steel and include an Eriez detector with remotely housed electronics, support plate and diverter valve.
